Widgets — 5 Ways to Engage Your Website Visitors
Introduction
Answe widgets are how your flows are shown to customers. Every flow on your page at answe.com/your-username is rendered as its real widget — no embed needed. If you also want a flow on your own website, choose from 5 widget types to match your design. Each type displays the same questions, forms and actions differently.
How It Works
All widgets share the same content — your questions, options, forms, and actions. On your Answe page each flow renders as the full widget, stacked in the order you choose. When you embed a flow on your own site, the widget type controls how that content is displayed there.
Full/Embed Widget
A self-contained widget that shows the complete experience inline on your page. The conversation, forms, products, and checkout all happen within the widget container.
Use when: The widget is the main focus of the page.
Option Widget
Shows answer options inline with your content. Selecting an option opens a side panel for the rest of the conversation.
Use when: You want options visible but don't want the widget to dominate the page.
Horizontal Option Widget
Options displayed side by side in a row. Wraps on mobile screens.
Use when: You have space for a horizontal layout, like a hero section.
Inline Widget
A compact button that expands to a full form when clicked.
Use when: You want minimal page footprint with maximum functionality.
Chat Widget
A messaging-style interface for real-time conversation.
Use when: You want live chat or a Q&A experience.
